Minecraft backups

The Xbox Live service for Xbox One automatically backs up your save game data in the cloud as long as your console is connected to the internet, allowing you to access your data even if you replace your console or play on a secondary console. However, if you are unable to locate the latest saves of your game, it means that it failed to save. it's possible to run out of cloud storage space, in which case you might want to delete some of your existing save game data. The following steps show you how to access the data that the Xbox One saves in the cloud.

1-Press the Xbox button. This brings up the Xbox One Guide.

2-Select the My games & apps tile and press A. This opens your game library

3-Highlight a game and press the Menu button. This small button is located just to the left of the X button. Pressing it brings up a new menu.

4-Select Manage game & add-ons. This brings up a new menu.

5-Select Saved Data. This option appears on the left side of the screen.

6-Highlight the data associated with your gamertag and press A. This brings up a confirmation menu with two options for deleting your data.

Hi, if the issue is with the game itself yes. You can try to delete completely Minecraft from your computer (including the .Minecraft folder)

It would be hard to determine exactly why this happened; it's likely a rare bug.

Servers do not make backups by default, you'd either need to use a backup plugin, or a Minecraft Realm instead.
