Minecraft Asking Me to Purchase Again

I have owned Minecraft for years and have even played it a few months ago. Just recently I've gotten a new PC and am re-downloading all of my games. I found out that Minecraft is transferring from Mojang to Microsoft, which I did the transfer like it said to do. I don't use the Microsoft store but as the game requires downloading the launcher from there, I have done so. The thing is that it shows: "To access the entire Minecraft: Java Edition with this account, buy the game and continue your Minecraft adventure." and a "Buy now!" button. When I click that button it redirects me to the Minecraft.net site and has the yellow text "Already own Minecraft? Download it again.", so I know for certain that my account already has the game purchased. I have originally purchased the Java Edition on the Minecraft website and not on the Microsoft store. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi Samy I've also seen the suggestion of installing the game on the primary hard drive; I would follow this if my primary drive hadn't so little storage

. I've also tried many times removing my account and logging back in with my Microsoft account from the launcher and it still only showed "play demo". I can only hope that Mojang fixes the problem soon. Thank you for your help anyhow, Samy! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this issue at least.

It is a known issue and Mojang is working to fix this bug in the new launcher. They also recommend installing the launcher on your primary hard drive.

I also recommend this step.

Open the launcher, go to settings>accounts>click the 3 dots, and remove all accounts connected to the launcher. You will return to the log-in screen, log in with the Microsoft account you used to migrate your account, and see if that resolves the issue.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your show.

I would definitely recommend checking your purchase history on
commerce.microsoft.com for the Season purchase. If it is showing up there then you should give a call to
Phone Support as they should not be asking you to purchase again.

In regards to the points in your account, that purchase of "migrate" is just the listing of the points in your account being transitioned into local currency. 540 points would transition to roughly $6.75 so if you are showing that $7 in your
account it is most likely correct. You can double check the amount in your Microsoft Account on
commerce.microsoft.com

Just a friendly reminder though that the license of Minecraft on Xbox and PC is different, which means that if you would like to play the game on your PC, you will be needing to purchase the correct version which is Minecraft Bedrock for Windows or Minecraft Java Edition, will depend on you.
