    Minecraft App crashes on connecting to xbox live


    Happens on ipad, android and windows 10. As long as I play Minecraft off-line it is ok. As soon as I sign into my xbox account the app crashes on connecting. I've tried uninstalling minecraft and re-installing. This started after the minecraft 1.2.9
    update.

    Minecraft crashed after signing into Xbox Live at start on Windows 10.

    When I had turned on my computer and had logged into Minecraft, Minecraft crashes while trying to log into Xbox Live.

    The Message is "Signing Into Xbox Live...This Will Take A Moment...", then the app closes and the game crashes.

    It happened during computer load up time.

    Game Streaming Doesn't work on Xbox App

    So you haven't had any problems with connecting your Xbox to your PC, but whenever you click to start the stream, the app crashes? Have you tried redownloading the Xbox App and restarting your computer?

    having the same. Two of my three kids’ accounts/games are acting in the same manner. My account and one kid seems to not be affected though.

    Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about this issue. To help us narrow this down, can you provide the following info?

    -Are all of the devices you're seeing this issue with fully updated? If so, can you provide the OS versions on each device?

    -Is there any difference if the device is connected to a wireless network vs. cellular data?

    -Does this happen if you test while signed into a different account on that device?

    I am having this same issue but on Xbox One. I can startup Minecraft with my account just fine on the xbox. My son (an xbox live child account) can start and play minecraft if the xbox is in offline mode. But as soon as we put the xbox online or click "Sign
    In" on the minecraft market place the game crashes to the xbox dashboard.

    Everything is up to date. Have deleted the app and reinstalled on xbox. Have done a system reset on the xbox. Have deleted local saves. It may have something to do with minecraft handling of child accounts. It was fine until the
    last update.
