    Minecraft and Xbox Series X


    When playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Xbox Series X it will sometimes completely shut off the system. When this happens the Xbox has to restart completely and when I try to load that world again I get the “there is a problem loading the world” message. This has happened to me twice so far and I’ve tried to look for a solution and cannot find one. I also cannot find a way to get the worlds back and playable again. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

    Xbox Series X compatability

    Microsoft introduces "Smart Delivery" with the Xbox Series X, which means, that if you own an existing game (like Minecraft in your example, or Gears 5) or a new game comes out for Xbox One and Xbox Series X with improved graphics on Series X, you won't
    have to buy the game twice.

    With Smart Delivery you will play the "enhanced" version on Series X, and the "normal" version on Xbox One.

    I have the same issue with Minecraft on my Series X. I tried all of the above multiple times, including trying a hard reset on my 2-day-old Series X and it still isn't working. I've resorted to playing on my Xbox one. Please help, I'd like to play Minecraft on my new console!

    I'm thinking of purchasing a copy of Minecraft: Xbox One edition. Will this version let me play legacy or force me to play bedrock edition?

    I like playing older versions of Minecraft, but more specifically Minecraft: Legacy edition. I want to purchase a copy of Minecraft: Xbox One edition for my Xbox Series X console. Will I be able to play the legacy version, or be forced to play Bedrock?

    Yes you can play Minecraft on Windows 10 even if your Xbox Series X, Xbox One or Xbox 360 is turned on, and logged in your account.
