Minecraft and other games fading into background instead of staying in foreground!

This is actually something we had an issue with on the 360, but an always-on controller plugged in resolved it.

I tried that move on my XBox One and while it works, I've noticed at random times I flip over to the box to find the game running says it still is, but it's actually not and clicking on the image in the larger part of the Home menu section simply restarts
it. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough to drive ya nuts.

I run Minecraft as a bit of a server so my Son and I can play, he's 1,800 miles away and -2 hrs so leaving it up helps. Was great on the 360, but how do we or can we get the One to do this properly? We've got programmable firmware on these controllers
now, how can we upgrade that?

Problems since last update...

I'm having the same issue, with audio popping and juddering a bit. It sounds like someone who doesn't know what they're doing using a compressor/limiter in the studio, where the background battles with the foreground, with foreground causing background
to drop when foreground voices start up and then letting background come back up after foreground voices pause or stop. There's also some popping in the voices that's odd. And it's only the live tv app. Sound in games, movie discs, and amazon instant video
is fine.

 

Where are all the emblems?

Seriously only 11 foreground and background?

Theyre all pretty lame too

 

I should also note that on the 360 version, I had the Autosave going on both :30 and :60 intervals as we tested. I as the Host never got booted, but regardless if I was playing or not but signed in with it running any other player would get kicked during
the Save and have to rejoin the game. Which was a weird thing but not sure if the console or the game did that.

Here on the One, it autosaves continually so there's no way to see that happen unless I turn off autosaves and remember to do a manual (not good a remembering). I figured this new bug on the One might be related?

Also right now I had to go somewhere for about 2 hours and I'm back - controller's off and the display is dimmed - but the game is running still. As I said, sometimes it happens, sometimes not.

 

Further update: Not sure if it's Minecraft or the whole console doing it but I was playing and in the middle of an autosave symbol up in the right corner or at least prepping for it the whole game locked up and after a slight pause it dumped back to the
main menu. I believe this is what's happening but it's when I'm not at the console, so I hadn't seen it til that happened.

 

Bumping as there's still not a clue of an answer BUT - I've found a net of people having the same issue!!! They're on Mojang's forums, but it's been going on for about a year. Same thing for each of us, either a jam and dump to XBL Main Menu or they leave
it and come back to find it's dumped. At this point I'm confident in saying its the same glitch in both cases and I've noticed the lockup's right before a mini-autosave where you'd see the Chest and Saving arrow flash in the upper righthand corner.

Would really like to get a resolution on this one!
