    Minecraft and Family Members


    I gave my sone Xbox store money in order to buy Minecraft stuff. He bought Minecraft coins and used them to buy add-on packs. He can play with them, but they can't be accessed by my wife or me. We should all be able to access family content. I contacted
    a Minecraft forum, and they said to contact Microsoft. Please help!

    Online game purchase

    Purchased Xbox One S for my son. Set up his account. Got the one that comes with Minecraft. I had to log in with my account to redeem the code for Minecraft. Now when He tries to sign in with his account, it won't let him play Minecraft because it says that
    only the account which purchased the game can play it. I already have a Family account set up and he is added. Trying to figure out how to let all members of the family account play games purchased online through redeeming code. Thanks so much!!

    Enable Minecraft Realms on Microsoft Family

    My son plays Minecraft on an iPad.

    He wants to play Minecraft with a friend online. Minecraft have a product for exactly this: Minecraft Realms.

    I've signed up for Realms myself and I am paying.

    But he can't access it. Minecraft says something to the effect "multiplayer" needs to be enabled in XBox.

    I signed him up to an XBox live account

    I signed up to an XBox live account

    I made him a family members

    With some effort I can even find the options page.

    But there is nothing there that looks remotely like "Enable multiplayer Minecraft realms."

    How does one do this?

    I'm looking at the Microsoft family page (Sign in to your Microsoft account). There is nothing under Acitity or Content Restrictions.

    Is an Xbox account the same as an Microsoft Account?

    - I can't find any "family" options in XBox, it reverts to Microsoft when I hunt

    - to be honest the XBox account page is just a blizzard of menu options

    Hi. If the coins were used to buy in-game items, those are usually only for the profile that made the in-game purchase.

    It is different to making a purchase via the Xbox Store, which can usually be shared between all accounts.

    If the purchase was from Minecraft Java there is no way she can log in without using her account information, but if the purchase is from Minecraft Bedrock, in the Microsoft store app login with the account that purchased the game and in the Xbox app with an account for her

    Using the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device, enable Multiplayer for Minecraft.

    In the Xbox Family Settings app:

    Go to Settings > In Enable Minecraft > Select Allow this game.

    Turn on Multiplayer to let a member play online with others

    Enable Clubs so that a member can create and join Minecraft Realms servers.
