Minecraft and error code 0x87e0012f

I purchased a digital game, Minecraft, from gamestop. The code went through but now the game wont download. I have spent over two hours going over every fix online and nothing is working. Minecraft Preview downloaded no problem but not the game.

As noted I tried every fix online looking for over two hours. So dont give a rote answer, unplug, reset etc... I have tried all those. If I cant buy stuff and download it I might switch to a PS5. this is kind of ridiuclous.

Hi, may I know if you tried installing Minecraft from the website?

If not, please do it.

If the issue persists, I can advise you other things:

A. Can be a bit odd but do this: (If maybe you have connected external drives, disconnect everything and leave just the HDMI and power cable)
Go to settings > system > language and location > under location change temporarily your region to UK or a random one. Once your console restarts, try installing the game from your owned games
If the issue persists go back to your current location and try again

B. go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.

(If that doesn't work use 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1)

C. Let's try cleaning your MAC address:

Select Setting > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address
Select Clear, restart your console and give it a new try

D. Do a factory reset but keeping games and apps (If you already did that, ignore)
Go settings > system > console info > reset and then select keep my games and apps

ok than, time to hit social media and paper it with reviews on Microsoft/xbox.

Yes it is showing redeemed. And if I cant install because of the console and some error than I do indeed expect a refund from microsoft/box. Yes I did try searching in owned games. What does the error code mean? Shouldnt that be a clue.

HI how are you? I have xbox series x console, bought the digital game from gamestop. As far as what i have tried I wll try to list but I spent two hours and about 10 or so pages within the internet search engine. So I have tried everything. Here are examples of what I have tried: restart, reset, cleared mac, unplugged power cable, unplugged power cable and all other cables for 20 minutes or so. It is no in the store, probably because I bought it at gamestop. I have also tried a myriad of other ways. Nothing is working. I need to get this fixed or get a refund, 19.99 plus tax. Otherwise I wont be able to trust microsoft in buying games from other retailers or microsofts store.
