Minecraft among family

Hi,

I wanted to play minecraft bedrock with my 10 years old daughter.

I've bought two copies of minecraft.

One has been installed on my w10 desktop which belong to me, under my login, and the other one on my w10 laptop, which belong to me, but using the login of my daughter.

My daughter is part of my family on my microsoft account. Her copy of minecraft is attached to her, mine is attached to me.

We can't be connected together at our minecraft account. We got the error "we tried to signed to your account" or something.

I think we are both using the same xbox account, hence the problem. I think that maybe the xbox account is linked to whoever own the computer, and not to the user logged.

Do anyone of you have a solution ?

I also have an old mojang account from 2013 when I first buy the game, java version. Still active, but my son is using it, and I wanted bedrock.

J'aimerais jouer Minecraft windows 10 avec ma fille, chacun de son côté.

J'ai acheté deux copies, une pour ma fille qui jouera sur mon laptop mais sous son login, et la seconde pour moi , qui jouerai sur mon desktop sous mon login. J'ai bien acheté ma copie avec mon compte, la sienne avec le sien. Mais elle est une enfant dans
notre famille dans mon compte microsoft.

On ne peut pas se connecter en même temps. Je pense que le compte xbox live est le même pour nous deux, et que ce compte est attaché au compte principal du PC, celui renseigné lors de l'installation de windows 10. Je suis un tantinet déçu, l'ensemble ne
me semble pas optimum tout de même pour rester poli. Je veux juste jouer avec ma fille et ai tout fait bien comme il faut.

J'ai par ailleurs un vieux compte mojang de quand j'avais acheté la première version de Minecraft, en 2013, mais il est utilisé par mon fils, et de plus c'est la version java, et j'aimerais utiliser la version bedrock.

Qqun a-t-il une solution ?

This did the trick. I am now able to play Minecraft with my daughter.

Even if the games are linked to two different microsoft accounts, there should be also two different xbox accounts. Logging at the windows start screen does not connect you to a related xbox account. I'm not sur to be clear...

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are seeking a way to be able to play this game across multiple Windows 10 devices under an account you own.

If you purchase a game digitally, only the account of the individual that purchased it would be able to play this game.

There is an option to play Windows 10 games offline, and this would potentially allow you to use an alternate account. However, if you sign out of the Xbox profile that owns the game, no one else on that PC will be able to launch the game.

I'm sorry about any confusion this might have caused.

You are right concerning the fact that I'd like to play this game across multiple W10 devices under my account.

I did purchase the game digitaly.

But I bought two licenses.

One for my daughter, and she installed it under her login ; and one for me, which I installed under my login.

Anayway I may have an idea to resolve that issue.

If the game is linked to the same Xbox account, this would explain a lot of thinks. Thus, I'll be creating an xbox account for my daughter, and it should be fine. If this work, I'll let you know.
