Minecraft added servers not working

    Minecraft added servers not working


    for Minecraft bedrock edition, since the new 1.16.100 update, servers that I add to my servers list wont work, the servers that come with Minecraft such as the hive and mineplex work just fine, but servers that I add such as play.hyperlandsmc.net or play.nethergames.org
    don't work, this happens for every server that I add and I double checked to see if I got the name of the server correct and I did, they used to work before the new update, I removed them and readded them, nothing is working. My device meets all the requirements
    because I can play online with my friends but just not added servers. whenever I try to join the added servers, it is stuck on "connecting to external server", when I join the servers that come with Minecraft, it instantly skip from connecting to external
    server to locating server then I am able to get in that server but just not the added servers.

    Thanks for bringing this situation to our attention here on the forums. I understand you are having trouble adding a server to your Minecraft Windows 10. When you go to "Play" and then over to "Friends" there isn't a little server symbol showing up above
    your joinable friends? Have you considered power cycling the whole thing and safely powering the PC down and unplugging it from any power source for a minute or two. If the situation continues you may want to uninstall and reinstall the game.

    What server are you trying to join exactly?

    Be aware that some servers only work with the JAVA version of Minecraft. Not all servers support the Windows 10 Minecraft version.

    If in doubt, check the website for the server (if it exists) or contact the server administrator (if known).

    I can't "Add External Server" to Minecraft Bedrock for Windows
