Minecraft achievements disabled due to previous load in creative mode

So I bought the new Adventure Time map pack, and I first loaded he game on creative to explore the map. I have delete my creative game, and when I tried to create a game on adventure mode in the Adventure Time map, it says that achievement updates are disabled,
even tho I have no creative mode saves. How could I reverse this so that I can create an adventure game and have achievements updates active?

Creation mode kills achievements even just loading it?

Yes, let me state it this way...

If you load ANY world, new or pre-saved, in creative mode, it will not earn achievements. Creative mode has achievements disabled by default always.

So for example let's say you create a world named: Survival1

You then take Survival1 and build a glorious castle in it from scratch the old fashioned way through hard work. You gain all sorts of achievements in the process.

Now you decide that you would like the achievement for the rail tracks but don't have the desire after building that castle to do that the old fashioned way so you load up "Survival1" in creative mode.

You create the track, save and exit out. You load Survival1 in Survival mode again and now you find you cannot earn the achievement, or any other for that matter...they are permanently disabled on that save. No problem you think, so you load the world in
survival and invite friends to earn the achievement. Well they soon find they also cannot earn the achievements as once again,...playing in creative mode DISABLES ANY ACHIEVEMENTS.

So now we know that playing in creative mode, loading in creative mode, basically launching creative mode in any way shape or form DISABLES ACHIEVEMENTS.

However, let's say you create a new world called "Survival2" and build it in survival mode. You then build the track and earn achievements. So do your friends. Now you take Survival2 and load it in creative mode, but immediately you get a warning that achievements
will be disabled. You play all night in creative mode, but this time you a) do NOT save your gameplay and b) made sure to disable auto-save. You return the next day to play Survival2 in survival mode and once again you EARN ACHIEVEMENTS.

In short:

Playing in Creative mode (in any way shape or form): DISABLES ACHIEVEMENTS

SAVING in Creative mode (in any way shape or form): DISABLES ACHIEVEMENTS

Playing in Creative mode (in any way shape or form) but NOT SAVING: only disables achievements during that game play session. The original save file does not become disabled as long as one DOES NOT SAVE. It may be loaded into creative mode as often as you
like with no penalty other than temporary disabling of achievements during that UNSAVED GAME PLAY SESSION.

I think that's as clear as it gets really. Their wording is rather muddy in that regard because it does kind of imply or at the least leave room for doubt that one's file will be disabled simply for loading within creative mode.

It's true that switching to Creative mode disables achievements, however you may continue to earn achievements in a new Survival World. Hope this helps!

 

So if I did this with every adventures, I can't get adventure related achievements anymore?

 

Are you referring to the biome discovery achievement 'Adventuring Time'? That achievement can be earned by either playing across multiple survivor mode worlds, or even on the tutorial world.

 

I didn't refer to the 'Adventure time' achievement, i was just wondering if there were any adventure mode only achievements?
