    Minecraft account that has been migrated to Microsoft login doesn't let me log in even...


    I have migrated my account to the Microsoft account login method. when I go to minecraft.net it says its all been processed and I can log in on the website by hitting Microsoft log in however in the launcher for the java edition I am unable to log with the older method or the newer method even after I reset my Microsoft account password. i've waited 2 weeks to try again just incase it needed to still "Process"

    I have that same issue. Try to log in through the microsoft button on the minecraft launcher and It wont let me log in....Should have stayed on Mojang servers as microsoft are just screwing us around. If its not working in 7 days I want a refund for the game...even though i have had the game for almost 10 years now

    Follow these steps and see if it helps you.

    You have hit the button to go back to the accounts page. But then, don't click on your existing account that you want to sign into or you will just get back into the same problem loop that won't let you sign in. You have to add a new account. It is counterintuitive because you are not actually setting up a new account. But once you click to add a new account you can choose to sign in with your Microsoft account in the Launcher. Once you do that, it will automatically use the Microsoft account to log you in from the Launcher.

    It says this account has been migrated and to use microsoft to log in, but none of my microsoft accounts are connected to that mojang account, the microsoft username, isabelly6738, is even in my minecraft launcher.

    How you log in depends on your account type, either with a Minecraft account, a Mojang account, or a Microsoft account.

    Legacy Minecraft accounts that have not yet been migrated – login with a Java profile name.

    Any account created after late 2012, or one that has been migrated from the old account format, is a Mojang account - login with an email address.

    Purchased Minecraft: Java Edition after December 1, 2020 - login with a Microsoft account.

    I am going to send you a link with information on potential fixes. There are to many for me to type. Please try them
    In the event it still does not work. Contact microsoft support to check if you account had been suspended.
