    Hello -

    I have an iPhone with an Xbox acct #1 and have downloaded Minecraft and created GamerTag 1.

    I then purchased an iPad for my son, which is under the same Apple account as the iPhone. I obtained another Minecraft app for it, and created a new user (GamerTag 2), linking it to Xbox acct#2.

    So Gamertag1 can see Gamertag2 online but they can not play together. Every time one user sends an invite to the other they get an error “unable to connect to world.” Additionally if Gamertag 1 sends an invite to Gamertag 2 they get a notification as if they
    have invited themselves.

    Gamertag2 has multiple friends and is able to play them without issue.

    Please help. Just want to play with m my kid

    I am having a similar issue with the Xbox one, started out with the "global resource crash detected" in the top of the screen. Haven't been able to play Minecraft for over a week. tried all of the above, cleared local saved data, reset MAC network settings,
    tried changing Location settings. We are able to launch Minecraft offline with diff acc.(my sons)that's about it. my brother and friends are still able to play on realms and such that we were on. I am unable to play offline or online on my account specifically.
    won't launch the game at all. wonder if it's linked to just the Xbox live gold account?

    Please see this support link https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/realms/minecraf... for information on how to link a Microsoft Account to Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch.

    If you're unable to do this though you may have used a different account to link your son on the device.
