Minecraft account gone after changing Microsoft password

I have just changed my Microsoft password and upon trying to login to minecraft.net using Microsoft account, I managed to sign in but My Minecraft gamertag and game is gone?!?! It asked me for new gamertag and says to buy Minecraft despite purchasing it in 2021. Can anyone advise? I found similar thread and I'm surprised this has not been fixed in any way ->

When you try to navigate to Login page (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/login) and use

Mojang Account (Email)

Mojang password

- If you enter old password, it says "Account has been migrated to a Microsoft account. Please log in with your Microsoft account using the green “Sign in with Microsoft” button above."

- If you enter new (microsoft password) it says "Invalid email, username, or password. Forgot your password?"

Seems like its out of sync

Why is this even allowed, I don't have access to my products anymore. Can anyone advise Im really baffled
