    Minecraft 360 edition crashes on 360 after I changed my gamer tag on Xbox one


    I recently changed my gamer tag on Xbox one and now Mine craft 360 edition crashes when I try to play it. anyone else that uses my console can play mine craft fine it only crashes when i try to play. I have tried also to play on a friends 360 and the same
    thing happens but they can play fine. this can not be a hardware problem as it occurs over multiple consoles only with my gamer tag. really feeling cheated since i paid for this game and can not play it.

    I want to buy minecraft but I dont know wether I have to buy the same game for Xbox ONE again.

    Please tell me if I can download the minecraft Xbox ONE edition on Xbox ONE when I have bought (downloadet) the minecraft Xbox 360 edition and wether I could use my xbox 360 world on Xbox ONE.

    upgrading to xbox one edition of minecraft need help

    ok so i have minecraft on my 360 and i want to upgrade it to the xbox one edition will i not be able to play it on the 360 if i upgrade it my son loves playing minecraft on 360 so i really don't want to see him lose it on the 360 so really my question would
    be

    i upgrade to xbox one edition of minecraft do i lose the rights to play it on the 360?

    try to delete your profile from the 360 (make sure you choose not to delete the save files also). and then redownload it. if it is "corrupted" or having some other issue from you changing the name, redownloading it should "refresh" it from the microsoft
    servers.

    basically already did that since i tried playing it on multiple consoles. I did think is a problem with the gamer tag itself. While I don't know how Mine craft keeps track of user data (not save files) but say number of block mined etc. i do have some DB
    programming experience, and the most logical thing i can think of right now is that Mine craft wont update my user data in that it's looking for my old gamer tag still. but if that's the case that a dumb programming error as it would mean it tracks user data
    by the gamer tag (which can change) instead of you actual user ID which never changes even if you change you gamer tag.
