    My sons have just tried playing minecraft on the 360 but it wont allow two players. One is on my gt (gold) the other on their gt (gold) if i load the game on my gt i can see all the save files, if i load it off theirs i can only see built in save files (tutorial,
    skyrim ect)

    This never used to be the case, Ive tried offline game/online game, redownloading their profile onto the xbox, nothing is working, if i press start to join the game nothing happens!

    They can both play it fine on the xb1, Also incase its related the screen doesnt fit my tv, ive tried changing the screen size but it still cuts off some of the right hand side..

    Anyone have any ideas? 360 is being run off hdmi cable if that makes a difference both console and game are fully updated

    Somebody told me that in order to play mine craft split screen you must have it set on widescreen. Being you have an HDMI cable I assume it would be set on widescreen though. maybe you can find a setting that helps. -goodluck

    Sometimes with minecraft, the host options can change. I would check to see if that might be the problem.

    In order to play Minecraft (Xbox 360) with 2 players you'll need it connected to your TV via HDMI. The whole issue with the screen tells me you have it hooked up differently which is the reason you can't play 2 player co-op.

    Its 100% running off the HDMI cable, no other tv cables plugged into xbox runs right from tv-xbox

    I'm having trouble too my daughter used to always be able to play split screen and now we can't get the 2nd player in there's no option and we haven't change anything I've been looking all day for some solution but nobody seems to wanna help

    nightmare isnt it, im lucky we have the xb1 version to play on but the best builds are on the 360 and id rather not import them
