Minecraft 1.13 input lag

I noticed right away after the new update my performance in game dropped terribly. I'm now getting a very noticable input lag from minecraft. I've tested out every other game from my xbox, so I know its exclusively minecraft that's having this problem.

I have no idea how to fix this but it's so bad the game is nearly unplayable for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I also have this problem and I am currently on V1.14.1, its alot different from before, where the movement was instant, it is ONLY happening on Minecraft, I have checked on other games like Overwatch and the input from my controller is instant. Really
hope this gets fixed...

The issue with this lag is with the latest update. I am experiencing this aswell, especially on realms. The developer is aware of the issue and will release a hotfix for this as soon as possible.

If this is happening on the Xbox One console then please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Hi Theo,

Thanks for coming to the forums. Were you in the beta at one time? There was an issue with people in the beta getting the 1.13 update. When they should of been in the 1.12. You can post on the
Minecraft forums for additional help on how to get back to the 1.12.
