Mine craft & Lego dimensions backward compatible?

sorry if this is the wrong place but the backwards compatibility forum seemed to be about issues with current games that are backwards compatible.

im trying to find out if mine craft (normal & story mode) & Lego dimensions are on the list to be available for backwards compatibility reasonably soon. These are the 2 games my son plays the most & we'd prefer to just have the one game console in the house.
That said, if they aren't available & we will need to have 2 gaming systems in the house so he can play them & we can play the newer games then we will get a PS4 so we broaden the range of games available since there's no use us having 2 consoles if they
mainly play the same games like the Xbox 360 & Xbox one do (personally I'm dying to play journey)

Backwards compatability is a joke

I bought my new Xbox one S console from Smyth Toys and was told it has backward compatability for Xbox 360 games. What a load of rubbish. My son has 12 games: Lego Dimensions, Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7, Lego Star Wars III, Lego Jurassic World, Lego
Bathman 3, Lego Marvel Avengers, Lego Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Tiger Woods Golf, Minecraft Storymode, Minecraft and Lego Dimensions and non of them have backward compatability!!!

This is absolutely ridiculous especially Lego Dimensions which is only 12 months old and cost me £45.

This is not on Microsoft you are trying to rip us all off buy making us buy new xbox one versions!

These are really popular games for kids to you need to sort this out.

Hello. It seems that this Lego Dimension Pack is meant for the Xbox 360, and is not backwards compatible to work on the Xbox one. Digital games do transfer over as long as they are backwards compatible. The Lego Marvel games are not backwards compatible.

Not all of the 360 Lego games are backwards compatible. Unfortunately, the backwards compatibility program ended so anything that hasn't been made compatible by now, won't be.

Lego Lord of the Rings is backward compatible. It was one of the last batch of games to be made backward compatible. As for Need For Speed Carbon, that isn't compatible, and won't be ever backward compatible either. As Smwutches stated, the backward compatible program has ended, so no more games are being added.
