    Mindcraft purchases are only on device, not my Microsoft account.


    Our family has three different accounts for Mindcraft on our iPads. Using my husband's iPad I logged in individually to their accounts, selecting the option to save to the account NOT to the device. There are literally only two options to select - I've never
    had a problem doing this before. I now have purchased two worlds, one for each of them, and the kids are unable to use them. Why is this happening? What can I do to fix it? I've tried logging them in again on my husband's iPad, I've taken the app off, restarted
    the devices. Nothing is working.

    Thank your for posting on the Xbox forums.

    Based on the Minecraft Marketplace FAQ, an Xbox Live account can be used to save purchases you make directly from the in-game Minecraft Store/Marketplace. Any purchases made through the Apple Store, would only be accessible when playing Minecraft on the
    iPad and you would need to contact Apple Support for any billing issues with their Store. If you have not made an Xbox Live Account using the respective Microsoft Accounts, I suggest you do so here https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/minecraft/sign-up
    as that could be the issue. Either way, the Xbox Live account will only save purchases made directly from the in-game Minecraft Store.

    Hi, my name is Fernando and I am an independent consultant for Microsoft products.

    The only way to Microsoft knows that a device is yours is by registering the device in your account.

    Probably your purchase invoice have the serial number.. You can contact the store where you purchased your device and ask them if they have any record about this.

    Microsoft does not recognize my purchase in June 24, 2020 of Minecraft Bedrock edition from minecraft.net so I cannot get the java edition

    You may have purchased it on a different Microsoft account. Kindly check all Microsoft accounts that you own.

    Also, if you're pertaining to purchasing Minecraft on an android device as well as an iOS device and play it using those devices it means that you only own the games on that specific platform, if you want to play the game on a PC you will be needing to purchase the Minecraft for Windows license.

    I have two iPads in the house. My son has been playing Minecraft on one of them, and I've bought him a handful of mashups on that device, which was not signed into a Microsoft Account at the time. Now I want him to use the other iPad, but I can't access
    the purchased content from the first. I have also bought a couple of mashups on that device while I was signed into my Microsoft Account, and I can only see those packs while signed in.

    If I sign out on the first device and then open the Marketplace and select My Packs, I see the content I have purchased on the device. I also see a popup headed "Important!", which tells me to "Sign in with a Microsoft Account (free) and transfer your pack
    entitlements and Minecoins to that account to protect and access them on any device that you sign in on".

    So I click "Sign in" and then a pop-up asks "Save purchases to a Microsoft Account?" and offers two choices: "Save to a Microsoft Account" and "Leave on Device". I choose the former, and I sign in to my Microsoft Account. Again, I click "Save to a Microsoft
    Account" and it loads up the marketplace showing the content from my device but NOT the content I have bought while signed into my account. And then after a few seconds, the content from my device disappears and is replaced by the content I bought while signed
    into my account.

    It doesn't seem able to sync the content from my device into the account. Can I force this to happen?
