Mindcraft Multi-player problems

Hello DancNanny47. Yes, Minecraft does, in fact, support multiplayer. You can play split-screen at home with 2 players, or join online multiplayer (which supports up to 8 players). Once you have downloaded the game and started it, choose "play game" on
the menu. After that, simply choose multiplayer and and join. Also, a quick note, if you want to play two players on the same Xbox, you will need an HDTV. Hope that helps.

Cannot get my son's Xbox 360 to do split screen multi-player from disc off-line. We have an HDMI cable and resolution set to 1080p and tried changing to 720p but still no luck. When we try to press start on the second control to join the power button flashes
all four lights around the button. Have tried turning all the way off and starting a new world, but not getting anywhere. I have noticed there is only one player profile when we go through the home screen to settings, but cannot find anywhere to add another
player?

Yeah, you will need a HD Cable before the game will allow you to play split screen on Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition

The game states that you can pplay up to four players without going online, do you still need the HD cable to be able to play this way?
