    Hello -

    I Am trying to migrate my Xbox GamerTag from an old email address to my live ID which I now use pretty regularly. I have followed the previous advice in the migrating account here:

    And gotten the error message 80154013, which is mentioned/fixed here:

    The problem is that after I have migrated my crappy GamerTag away from the Live ID I want I am not seeing the change reflected when I log into the web (here).

    So when I log into my Xbox360 it shows that my current GamerTag () is NOT associated with the Live ID I want it's with a dummy email (and freed up). But when I log in with that same Live ID on the Xbox website it shows my GamerTag as Disowned
    Prune8 (not freed up).

    Any reason why this inconsistency is happening and why I can't reassign the other GamerTag I want to this Live ID?

    I have been trying to migrate this for months and have now created probably eight fake accounts just to get this resolved.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Accounts ?

    Silver gives access to live for free but no multiplayer. Pretty sure it will be all you need to migrate her account to the one

    Migrating Original Xbox Live ID

    The name is still in the system, but as Fog Dogg (the system doesn't see spaces as making a gamertag unique)

    live.xbox.com/.../Profile

    So if someone else created that gamertag after the original was freed up, there is no way to recover that tag.

    Just to clarify, I noticed that your post has two versions of the gamertag spelling. One includes a space between the words and the other is all together like one word. Is that a typo or do you actually have the two similar yet different gamertags?

    It could take up to 48 hours for the gamertag/profile to refresh across all devices. It's possible that the situation has been corrected by itself by now. Let me know and I'll try to assist further.

    Additionally, the target profile cannot already have an Xbox life gamertag associated with it. To find out, sign in the top of any Xbox.com page (such as this one). If the screen says “To continue, create an Xbox profile,” the account does not have a gamertag.

    There is no way too migrate an original xbox gamertag without a windows live id

    As windows live ids are required to perform recovery
