Migrating to Microsoft account without access to email associated with the Mojang account

Without the email, you're gonna need another way to demonstrate legitimate account authority. The receipt, means of payment, transaction ID, a really detailed and confirmable narrative maybe. You'll need a human, so I wish you luck.

That's normal, you can't access the old Mojang account after the migration, you need to use the email you used to migrate the Mojang account to, in the launcher you need to select Minecraft Java and then Microsoft login and then use the email you use during the migration process

I migrated my Minecraft account from a Mojang account, and I purchased the game from there somewhere around 2010 so not sure how I would go about finding my game license. I have an email from Mojang to the email associated with my Microsoft account saying account migration was successful. But now when I log into the account I can't see it. I think I may have multiple accounts associated with a single email address. Is this possible?

On the login prompt in the java launcher, go back. You'll see the mojang account you had been signing into - ignore it, and add a new account to the launcher. Using the email address associated with the microsoft account you just migrated to, sign in with the email address and password of your microsoft account. It's not an elegant migration on the UX side of things, but it does work.
