Migrating data from 60gb hdd to 120gb (official hdds fat models) tutorial?

No there is nothing else you need to know.

No worries a tutorial is not needed just let them sit there and don´t move them while transferring.

If you wanna be extra careful and worry that much:

You could move your saved games to the cloud or a USB incase it does not transfer right.

But it usually does. All content you downloaded can also be re downloaded from your download history.

Exactly. I remember the 20gb models simply saying HDD on them whereas the 60gb and 120gb models actually said 60gb or 120gb on them.

You need to make sure the 120gb hdd is attached to the console and the 60gb hdd is connected via the transfer cable. Are you using an official MS transfer cable? Or a third party one?

Only just sold my 360 Elite and yes, the HDD off an Elite will fit the original fat 360 as they both used the same design, an external HDD that fits on to the end of the console.

Whereas the S and E models both use an HDD that fits internally, behind the removable grill on the R/H side of the console.

Also, the later model of HDD (for the S & E consoles) was only available in 250GB and 500GB.

The 120GB HDD was only available in the original 360 design.
