    Recently migrated my old Mojang account to microsoft (had the urge to play for nostalgia) and i can't launch the game.

    Hey JamesBeecher2, how are you today? Hope you're well.

    JamesBeecher2, log out of the Launcher. Log in with your new Microsoft account, not your old Mojang account. Note carefully the labels on the login form.

    Also, try to reinstall the Launcher completely through the Microsoft Store app. :)

    My Minecraft Game(Migrated Account from Mojang) got hacked. I know all the details.

    Thank you for your help Kathy A. I did migrate my Mojang Account to a Microsoft Account(This Account that I am writing on). But I don't know what the Hacker did to have Minecraft Java Edition disappear on this account, but have it playable on another device. As far as I know it's not possible for the Minecraft Game to switch Microsoft Accounts once I already migrated it.

    Hi Basel, I hope you're doing well. I am an Independent advisor, and I am here to help you.

    You can only get a Migrator Cape if you have migrated your Mojang Account to a Microsoft Account during the migration period.

    If your account is newly created, unfortunately, it is not eligible for the Migrator Cape.

    Sadly, the Migration period ended last September 2023, and only the gamers who migrated their account from Mojang to a Microsoft account during the migration period have been given a Migrator Cape.

    How do I log into my Minecraft account?

    The migration process has ended on 19 September 2023. If you forgot to migrate your Mojang account to a Microsoft account, you will not be able to sign in.

    However, if you already migrated your account, you can't re-migrate it to a different Microsoft account.
