Might buy xbox one in a few months but....

Okay so I have some questions before I commit (yes I know there's probably a million post on this but this is simpler)

I read that you have to pay 10 bucks to convert games you bought on the the market place yo xbox one, do you have to with physical copies to?

Is is it true it doesn't run when Not connected to the internet?

do 360 games not even work on the one or is that a lie?

Im im assuming no because they sell it without the kinect, but I heard you need the kinect for it yo work.

basically is any of the negative rumors true?

Why Dead Island is probably gonna suck

Just because that game was buggy doesn't mean their next one will be. I might buy Dead Island but not at release. Probably pick it up cheap in a few months.

error code 002408

poop - my xbox died a few months ago, and I had a few months left on the gold membership so I logged in thru my laptop and was enjoying some of the games here ... thinking we might get the new Xbox One when it comes out in Oct. Now, having problems with
just these games - error code 002000 - so lame. Makes me question if I should buy MS ... I love the games, but hate the hassle when things don't work as they should. argh.

The $10 thing was an offer by some publishers so if you purchased a game on the 360, you could upgrade to the One version for only $10. Some of the deals were for disc versions through some retailers as well as digital. I believe at this point those deals
have expired though. You would have to check with the publisher for the games you're looking at to see if they offer a deal like that and if it is still available. Otherwise, you would have to purchase the game again for the One.

The One is not backwards compatible, so you would not be able to play any 360 games on the One.

You do not have to have a Kinect in order for it to run.

I'm not sure about the internet connection question. Mine is always connected. I do know it does at least have to be connected when you first start it so it can get certain updates and things.

Its possible they might let you buy the Locke armor after a few months. Dont know anything about weapon skins from Microsoft.
