midnight club los angels issue

after octorber xbox one update ,midnight los angels disc cannot be started by backward compatible.

it is displayed that backward compatible is not support.

DUB has a huge following of hardcore fans, many of which thought Los Angeles was good but that DUB was better.Personally, I'm the same: I loved Midnight Club: DUB. Los Angeles just couldn't hold my attention for long.

I'm sorry to hear about this issue being experienced with Midnight Club: LA not being read by the Xbox. I'd be happy to try and help.

I would suggest to start with a
power cycle.

1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 5 minutes.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One

I would also suggest to try another backwards compatible game that you may have in disc form and try it out. If you don't have another one, don't worry just give the power cycle a try and let us know the results!

I tried the power supply, but, after all, it does not work.

The error code is 0x8082000c.

Other backward compatible discs can work.

xbox one disk also works.

It is only Midnight Club Los Angeles. Previously it worked.

That error code means that the console failed to properly read the disc in the drive.

If the power cycle XBF Diego M didn't work then the issue might be on the actual OS of the console or a failed\bad copy of the latest update so we would suggest a
Soft Factory Reset
(while keeping games and apps) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

• There is a stable network connection.
• The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

 

I tried soft factory reset.

setup is complete.

However, the problem was not solved.

Sorry to hear about the game not working, let's try to get you back into those races! I see you've done some troubleshooting. Have you tried

uninstalling the game by any chance?

1. From Home, select My games & apps, and then select
   See all.
2. When you’ve highlighted something to uninstall, press the Menu button on your controller.
   
3. Select Manage game & add-ons, then Uninstall all.
   

 

Yes. I already tried uninstalling midnight club los angels game.

but now I can not reinstall.

Thanks for reaching out and keeping us updated! We appreciate the information and want to help as best as we can. So, Midnight Club: LA does not want to install this time around? Does it still show the error code is 0x8082000c?

Also, please try
testing the Multiplayer connection under settings. Then try installing a small demo and let us know if it installs the game or try another disc.

Does it say anything like "If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you're signed in to Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to buy it at Microsoft
Store"?

I have the same issues 4 different disc and a new copy i just bought.

 

None of these helped. Error code persist. Xbox 360 gives similar error.

 

I have this same issue on Xbox One.

 

I think that problem is last Xbox One update. Is there anyone else having the issue?

your own thread here on the forums detailing the issue and the error code along with the game having problems. We also ask to get in contact with
Xbox Support
to report the issue through them as well to get the information needed passed on to the right people.

We will continue to collect information but we need everyone's help by letting us know how many are having this exact issue to confirm everyone's suspicion that this is an arising issue.
