What is it with the game that's winding you up?

Are you getting killed a lot? Do you not feel powerful enough? Is it too easy? Do you not really find chopping Orcs to bits to be all that entertaining and satisfying?

Iv just started this game and love it

 

I've only died the once so far, but I'm just not clicking with the game. Finding it a bit boring and don't really like the Nemesis system or just don't understand it enough.

Seems like a well made game, but I just don't think it's for me. I'll keep playing it though in hope I'll start to like it, sometimes I just have to give a game time.

Hey Drunky.

I know what you mean. I really could not get into "The Witcher 2" even though the game was supposed to be "so mature".

I'd been promised an RPG but instead all I got was an Action Adventure game dressed up as an RPG.

That being said I went back to it a year later and because I knew what to expect then I had a better experience.

At the end of the day if you're not enjoying yourself then you do right to move on. Not everyone likes the same stuff and if we did the world would be a dull place.

 

I found Watch Dogs boring too, but I recently went back to that and enjoyed it more. I do find killing orcs in Shadow of Mordor fun, I just don't really understand the game yet, in other words I'm just wondering around not sure what's going on lol.

I'll give it a couple more days, might trade it in for the new Alien game if I still feel the same way.

 

I just noticed that now my Kinect camera go off when playing the game. When did this happen, and is the game now 1080p?

 

Think my Kinect stays on when playing this game and yes after the day one update it's now 1080p.

 

This game is flipping awesome. Glad I finally have the time to play it.

 

Yop....What i found "crazy" is that we got a common game (story,contents) but a part of it is randomly generated.Which gives us different little stories.....

And today i got a mission to revenge someone (on my friend list),by killing one (of his) captain who previously killed him.Didn't expect that...

 

Its a great game, but I just cant find a rhythm to it, I just feel like its so disjointed that I am finding it hard to have interest in what I am doing, Plus crossing the map to get a mission and then ending up in some fight with about three captains who
murder you after about ten minutes of fighting hordes of orcs only to get put back in the tower you started from isnt funny! Apart from that im enjoying it when it does come together.

 

Hey Genchy

You need to mark some of the other towers on your map and then go and "unlock" them. Basiically start climbing the ruined tower and your Wraith Form will take over and you'll climb the original Elven Tower, reach the top, strke your hammer on the anvil
and the area is unlocked.

Once you have done this you can fast travel to any of the towers you have unlocked.

Additionally if you're getting pasted in fights with mobs of Captains then leg it if it's all a bit too much.

If you have a target that has multiple captain friends if you look around there's usually a variety of ways to "thin the herd" so to say.

Sounds like you may need to upgrade your weapons too.

Unlocking the Towers unlocks the missions in the area.

Complete the Weapons Missions and you'll eventually receive health bonuses as you cleave through mobs.
