Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor

I have been waiting on this game since it came out for PC. I went and pre-ordered me a copy, but when I got home I did some research and found out that I couldn't play it on my Mac. So I went back and got my money. Then just last week I saw that it's
coming out for Xbox 360. I was ecstatic I went and ordered my copy, and had it set up to be delivered to my home on the release date. The 18th comes and the mail man delivers " lol."

I get the game out I up disc one of two in, just a screen pops up ok I select my hard drive, then nothing happens; nothing comes up; not a prompted in sight. So naturally I think of " Disk 2 of 2." I get it out, get it put in. Opening credits , Franchise
logos and all; no big whoop. Heck I thought I was on the right path. I go through to set up get everything perfect for game play, and low and behold I get and I quota straight from my screen.

" Failed to load world section worlds\retail\blackgates\sectionsandlyers\il_02.bndl.This world section may not exist or not be the correct file revision"

WHAT?

I have waited forever it seems like for this game. I've waited up all day to get it after pulling a double and now I can't even get a taste of the game play for myself before work. I sure hope it's fixed when I get home from work. I would hate to go
on two days no sleep.

Had same problem. Called Microsoft, got it working.

1) clean disc

2) turn off/on machine

3) Clear cache: >system setting (press Y) >Clear cache.

4) Reinsert game: "Start Install" will be on bottom right of screen.

 

I am having a problem with the dark ranger outfit and test of power dlc. There are 2 codes on the back of the pamphlet i have tried and verified both, when i try them i get this code is invalid the game was just released for xbox 360 today. I bought it brand
new, Any Ideas?

 

I am having the same problems with the " Failed to load world section worlds/retail/blackgates/sectionsandlyers/il_02.bndl.This world section may not exist or not be the correct file revision" and the codes are invalid. I tried clearing my cache and that
did not help. I also tried returning it for another copy, but I am still having the same problems. I was really looking forward to this game and now it has been nothing but problems.

 

So the "Failed to load world section" is caused by the game not installing correctly. What you will want to do is this:

1) Go to setting/ memory and delete anything saved under Shadow of Mordor

2) Restart your Xbox

3) Disconnect from Xbox live

4) Start disc 1 and the option to install should show up this time

5) Install the game

6) Insert disc 2 after you are done installing and it should work

This worked for me, hope it works for everyone else.

Does anyone know if this game is actually available for digital download? When I go to it in the games tab there isn't an option to buy it. Kind of sucks, I've also been waiting forever to try it out.

 

What wikid says seems to work installing now..lol... I still have the same prob with the i game dlc dark ranger outfit...

 

Thank you all for your feedback, I myself just got off of work and am going to try ever suggestion posted on here. I have been dying to play this game, but don't know if I have it in me tonight to get started on "Story Mode." Laterz all.

 

I would like to know as well why my codes for the dark ranger won't work as well

 

How is the game now? I've heard of a few patches recenly
