Microsoft's Xbox Live File A Complaint/Enforcement Action Is An Abuse Mechanism for Online ...

I recently received the following notification from Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team:

This activity may include harassment, abusive language, hate speech, profanity, disruptive or offensive language, spamming, or other inappropriate uses of Xbox Live communications features. Temporary suspension impact: For the duration of the suspension this account cannot use Xbox Live communication features, including in-game and party chat, messaging, video communications, gameplay broadcasting, sharing content, and Skype on Xbox One. Permanent suspension impact: This account can no longer sign in to Xbox Live from any device. This enforcement affects the account's Xbox Live privileges until‎4‎/‎27‎/‎2017‎ ‎1‎:‎30‎:‎29‎ ‎PM. [/td][/tr][/table]

This notification arrived following communication that occurred between another gamer and I following a sport match.

Following the match, the other gamer initiated contact with me, and proceeded to taunt me in connection with the match. The other gamer's gamertag clearly indicates a sexually derogatory nature in its name, and it therefore follows that it is a reflection
of the individual's character behind the gamertag; and, in my experience gaming, these types of gamertags and individuals are bullies and initiate and pursue bullying especially following the kind of sport match that we just had.

While I attempted to have the gamer go away, they pursued to taunt me. I finally made a remark about the gamer's explicit gamertag, and I subsequently blocked the gamer, as I did not initiate, invite or otherwise want that kind of communication from the
other player. I have no interest in or a history of contacting other gamers to bother them. The other gamer recognised that I blocked their account, and they were subsequently upset about the loss of control over the situation, so they therefore chose to file
a false complaint against my account - a true sign of a bullying - striving to maintain power and control.

As a result of the other gamer's fabricated complaint, my account now has enforcement action against it with a Permanent suspension impact.

It is infuriating and also debilitating, that this kind of true online bullying can occur and be fully protected by the mechanisms within the system - and there is absolutely nothing that I can do about it - my side of the story is prohibited from being
heard - as there is no one to contact and there is no appeal mechanism available.

Microsoft should be ashamed to believe that they have entitlement to supreme power to enforce action without due diligence.

But, this is what I can do about it - post it on the internet so the rest of the world could read about it.

IN NEED OF CONTACTING MOD OR ADMIN DIRECTLY DUE TO AN ONLINE SEXUAL HERASSMENT/HERASSMENT ISSUE

The only thing you can do is report/file a complaint the said members through the Xbox options provided on your console so the Enforcement Team can start a proper investigation. Informations can be found here on how to do a report/file a complaint

As for getting report/file a complaint feedback, unfortunately the Enforcement Team is not mandated to do so and will most likely not give information about the occuring investigation regarding reports.
