Microsoft's Refund Policy needs work

My guess is you could've experienced something like I have where if you've used up a certain amount of refunds within a time (They don't specify the exact amount), they'll deny you a refund. They've done this twice to me already even on games I've only
put a max an hour in.

Yeah it's annoying. I've looked through so many threads and it's the same solutions that everyone has told them aren't working. They need to take responsibility and cut out that bull no refund policy. We need a better way to make this public and rub microsofts
nose in it for treating its costumers this way. We all deserve to be mailed hard copies and full refunds for their incompetence.

We don't work for Microsoft so we can't do anything. This is why it's recommended that your account region match your physical location. Microsoft does have a no refund policy.

We've all been here before, wishing that we had not bought a certain game or DLC...

As general policy, Microsoft does not refund games or content. If you bought the game on a disc from a retail store then you would have to review that store's return policies.

Unfortunately, I know of no work around or policy language that would entitle you to any type of refund.

The refund policy is in place so it doesn't get abused. As in the past people would play games beat it then refund. As this isn't the case for all of us, they made a universal policy. Under their Microsoft service agreement states there is no refund for
digital content. So this policy is actually a good thing. You will need to email the support agent back that helped you if you want to appeal the refund denial.

g. Refund Policy. Unless otherwise provided by law or by a particular Service offer,
all purchases are final and non-refundable. If you believe that Microsoft has charged you in error, you must contact us within 90 days of such charge. No refunds will be given for any charges more than 90 days old. We reserve the right to issue
refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future. This refund policy does not affect any statutory rights that may apply. For more refund information, please
