Can I take my 2013 Chevy and go get a 2014? Its not that they don't care they do. Your in their customer base when you have an issue they will fix it they are trying to expand. What you get is the service. Have they not provided that?

Ryse. This is a theory, they are giving it away free because if the breakdown between crytek and Microsoft. Seems like crytek took a less upfront more on royakties type deal. When they didn't sell millions got mad and blasted Microsoft . Microsoft offered to buy the IP crytek refused even though they are struggling. So here we are Microsoft has distribution rights so let's give it away free no more money goes to crytek and users get a game makes us look better

 

Think about RYSE and Crysis! lol

 

Think about 2 games that are already on MS systems? Um ok.

They would be better off buying Capcom.

 

How would that stop them losing money? Surely the better option for Crytek would be to change their business practices.

I don't think that would help. Crytek's problem is mainly that their engine is poorly optimized, and it's a struggle for studios other than Crytek to develop with. CryEngine can produce some beautiful visuals, but from
a coding standpoint, it's a mess. Ever since the release of Crysis 2, they've been on a slow decline.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the company, but I would love to see them do something with the TimeSplitters IP. At the very least, they could relinquish their hold on it and let someone who can do it justice develop
it. It's always sad to see a company go bankrupt, but I wouldn't be surprised if Crytek is heading in that direction.

 

I think that with MS money Crytek would actually support one of their MP games. I always felt like Crysis 2 should have been epic, if it didnt take them forever to fix it.

 

Crysis worked better for PCs anyways, and when they brought the series over to consoles, it just ruined what they used to be. Well that's what some people say.

I doubt MS will buy them up. If anything another publisher will pick them up.
