Microsoft, you guys are really losing money by not allowing direct gifting through the xbox.

Sorry I rather not give phishers and cheaters more reasons to steal am account

With gift card options if you are doing anything phishy you are accountable to the fraud

Gifting is not allowed due to the fact too much limitations like regions and people gaming the system

People could do illegal things and charge gifts from peoples creditcards attached to their accountw

People buy accounts or not knowningly buy cheap currency and then end up with q stolen account

There is actual fraud laws that prevent this

Because it would be extremely limited

Currency cards is limited to the region they are issued

Psn and Xbox do not support gifting due to the fact its will allow not only fraud but illegal behaviour like selling or monetarizing accounts

With steam if you get baned you lose everything

With psn or Xbox you can still play the content

Normally the Visa gift cards that are purchased at stores like that do not work for purchases on Xbox and this is through the Bank that handles the gift card because they are thinking that you are trying to purchase a renewing subscription and these
types of purchases can not be made with the gift cards like that.

please note I put the gift card in pay pal who accepted it as
cash. it now should be money to spend and Microsoft still does not allow purchase.

there wont be an update to allow you to play movies tv series etc via a usb stick, microsoft and the other companies ..netflix etc will simply lose money if you watch a tv series or a movie through other sources.

Yes I understand that it will add on to my existing microsoft credit. The question is that the gift cards you redeem through rewards have a 90 day expiry date where you have to spend that money within that time. The money I have in my account is through bought gift cards and as so has no expiry date to use the money by. I just want to know if I redeem gift cards through microsoft rewards, when I buy a game it will use the gift card money with the expiry date first and not the money i already have in my account. If that makes sense. Thanks.
