    Microsoft Xbox Sent me wrong Item


    This was my first time using Microsoft Support. My new Xbox Series X controller was not working correctly. I called customer support they asked me to trouble shoot with them. I did, it was determined that I needed to ship in my item to have their engineers look at it. I provided my controllers serial number and they sent me a shipping label. I mailed in my controller about a week later I got a notification that a replacement was on the way. Last night I came home and the box was on my door I opened it only to find a Microsoft USB stick in the box not my controller. I was very confused so I called customer support and each time I have explained the issue to a representative we have "Lost connection" and I don't receive a callback. I am tired of waiting 40 minutes at a time for Microsoft to give me a call. Has anyone else had this happen to them? and what steps can I take to get this resolved?

    Well, I think you're not going to like my answer, but I've seen a few cases like yours and in none of them the user was able to replace the controller again or get a refund.

    Many users had troubles with Xbox controllers, got them replaced by other controllers that are even worse (or not even a controller was sent to them as a replacement, like in your case) and they couldn't talk to anyone on Xbox.

    What I can tell you is that if you can't solve this issue with Microsoft/Xbox support by chat or phone, try to dispute the charge on your credit card or bank account with your financial institution. But if you do, be aware that Microsoft can block/ban your Xbox account.

    Thank you Lucas,

    This was something covered under the warranty so there was no charge on my card. Except for the charge when I purchased my Xbox 6 months ago. I don't understand why this would happen. Ultimately I just want my controller back, I filed a claim with my shipping label that was used to send in my controller and the serial number of my controller,

    I went ahead and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I really hope Microsoft will start taking customer service more seriously. I have spent thousands of dollars with Microsoft over the past couple of years and have not once had an issue with the products. This has been the first time I have had to use their warranty service and am so disappointed from the outcome.

    So, i got the message that my xbox live membership is ended. I decided to buy 1 month gold card ,so i bought it.

    Microsoft sent me the mail that all was successful and i could play again.

    But the problem started on the next day,right after 24 hours after i purchased it.

    Microsoft sent me some mail again where they said that my gold status is ended ! I was shocked and disappointed.

    I called Microsoft and they said that the system has canceled my purchased items itself. They apologized and sent me the new code. I have redeemed it right after i got it. And the errors i always get now :

    SOMETHING WENT WRONG ....xbos-1005 and etc.

    So ,does anybody know whats wrong? How could i resolve it?! Help me !
