    Microsoft Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller


    Hello,

    I purchased the Microsoft Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller as a 2018 Christmas gift for my grandson. He is having issues with it saying it turns on but buttons don't work. He has tried new batteries and says syncing but nothing works.

    I didn't give this item to him until Christmas morning, so it isn't a year old yet. Amazon says they only cover for 6 months.

    Can't contact Microsoft live representative for assistance and not sure if going to a physical store would work since not purchased there.

    Can someone help direct me so I can try to fix this problem for my grandson. It is not an inexpensive item and since it is a Microsoft item, I am hoping they will stand by their name.

    Suggestions please!
