Microsoft - Xbox Needs A Voice Threshold Setting

do the following: Open COD: Modern Warfare In-game, access your Options menu

1. Navigate to "Audio"
2. Set voice chat to "Enabled"
3. Set the open mic recording threshold to minimum. Setting this too loud may prevent other players from hearing your voice.

Yeah I know what you mean but what your talking about is for pc apex because pc apex has more options in audio settings and the option for your voice volume and threshold but I'm on console and they don't have it on there only like 5 options in the audio tab.

Console Dosent have voice chat settings like pc does.

Thanks for you reply HalfChaosnova. To my knowledge, the voice volume wheel, on the headset, only adjusts the volume of other gamers "voices" and not the threshold of sound that picks-up my on voice (which is essentially the problem). If that makes sense!

This is controlled by the 360 as to what threshold will activate your mic. There isn't any way to change it on the console side and as far as I know none of the Tritton headsets have microphone volume controls. I have an AXPro and the same detachable mic
boom and haven't had issue with it. Quick test I would do first is record a voice message at regular speaking volume and play it back. If it sounds fine to you then it's the 360 threshold and you just need to speak louder. If it doesn't sound right I would
get in contact with Tritton and see about getting a replacement mic under warranty.

I have to almost yell or cover my mouth to get the older MS wireless headset to start picking up so this threshold is actually set high across a lot devices.

May I know if you tried lowering your Mic sensitivity using the windows sound properties?

Open Control Panel and view all the items in Category.

Click Hardware and Sound > Sound.

Right-click the microphone that has a sensitivity issue and choose Properties.

Under the Levels tab, make sure it is set to 100 if the sound output is low and you need to adjust your vocal distance from the microphone itself. If the sound is loud, reduce the level until it satisfies you

Also, you can enable some audio enhancements to see if that makes the differences
