    Microsoft/Xbox, has become an inhuman service. Allow me to expound:

    I've been a Microsoft customer my entire life online. When the Xbox came out, I was there. While service could be excruciatingly slow at times, we were always able to reach a live human being, that we could understand, and who, many times, were gamers themselves.
    I think in all the years, until a few years back? There was only one problem they could never resolve to my satisfaction.

    Then something changed. "Pay Walls" became a thing, along with Podcasts and people beginning to do their own content. As they became more popular, and their audience grew, in came said "Pay Walls.

    Myself? I believe Microsoft was jealous of such a thing. They did NOT want to have to deal with their customers, their complaints, issues, suggestions, whatever. ESPECIALLY THOSE, with who them may disagree with, on ... "other" issues. They may have even begun
    creating their own "Lists". Who knows.

    Next up, they began "Web Chats". And these? Actually, were pretty good! I was fairly happy with them. Apparently, however, Microsoft was NOT. There was STILL too much "Human" contact. They wanted to do everything in their power, to eliminate such things, because..
    well, people can be such a PAIN!

    Enter my new experience with ordering a damn controller, using the system set up, in Xbox One's Market system.

    Oh, Microsoft? They DRILL your Credit Card, damn near INSTANTANEOUSLY! Rest assured, that aspect? hasn't changed one iota.

    But the rest of it? HELL ON EARTH. No longer can you speak with a human being. No longer can you do something as FRIGGING SIMPLE? As fixing an ADDRESS CHANGE, NOT of your own doing. In fact, it was the doing of Microsoft itself- yet? The HELL IS MINE, to endure
    now.

    3+ days ago, as I said, I ordered a new Controller through the market place. Just before the "Purchase" button? It shows your general billing/shipping information- but NOT as detailed as it used to be. Now, most screens of this nature? Lead to ANOTHER Screen,
    where you can verify all of your information, and make any necessary changes, if needed.

    Except, this too? Must have been to bothersome. Apparently, during one of the "Updates" of late? They, for some reason, flipped my "Shipping address", BACK, to an address I've not been at, for over 8 YEARS. As I confidently hit the "Purchase" button, fully
    expecting to correct this issue on the next screen? To my surprise, all I got was, "Item Purchased" showing all the information, to include the WRONG shipping address.

    Now this? Should have been THE MOST BASIC, simple fix, in human history. Except, it's been 3+ days of LIVING HELL. HOURS spent trying to speak to ANY LIVING BEING, with Microsoft whom I could actually UNDERSTAND, (there WAS one.), and being disappointed, EVERY.
    TIME.

    I got "Web Chats" with BOTS. People that were responding with moronic ****, that made no related sense, to my issue. They, at first? Told me the issue was, "taken care of". I thought it was a "live person"? But I was mistake, it only appeared to be a live
    person. They did NOTHING, in regards to any of my issue. When I went back to review the response? A 2nd PARAGRAPH of words were there, that were not, before. And they PROVED, they were NOT speaking, in regards to my issue.

    Then, I got "Your product has shipped"- To the 8 year old, not used, old address. So I began trying to call. Hours upon hours, of holding, finally getting a person, them sending me to the wrong Dept. after forcing me to re-explain, time and again, the very
    same, simple issue, because there is no, "Product shipped to wrong address", option, only to have it say, "Dept." is closed, even though I was calling between the houses stated, being transferred to a "Void"- no sound, music, voices, nothing, yet not disconnected,
    being instantly disconnected, them taking my phone number, (in case we were disconnected), them HANGING UP ON ME, never to return a single damn call.

    I honestly don't know which was worse- Not being able to get a quick, simple address fix with no human, or with the disinterested, or, maybe, they viewed my "linked accounts", and didn't like my beliefs in life, and deciding to put me through a "wringer"?
    I'm unsure. But lawyers may be able to find an answer to this insanity.

    Because Microsoft messed up during an update, or some damn thing, and flipped back to a prior address. I've wanted to delete this address, trust me, and have tried to, even with their help, long ago, but was told that one of the gamer tags I have? Would also
    be lost. That wasn't an option. But I was told to just add my new address etc, and make sure it was set as the Billing/Shipping address, which I did, and had no issues, the past 8+ years, for the most part.

    Until I bought a simple controller. From my Xbox/Microsoft Store. The money's been charged. I've lost almost 4 days, with NO end in sight, as to where that controller will ever end up.

    But I do know one thing for absolute certain? My money, almost instantly? Wound up, without any confusion, whatsoever, in Microsoft's bank account. Imagine that.

    But I'm going to make this, "Human Involved", once again, Ok Microsoft? Since I can't speak with you, a rep of yours, or any live human being, who would take the 5 minutes needed, to put the CORRECT ADDRESS, which YOU stopped using, back up?

    I'll allow some of my Ten Thousand "Followers", know who and what, Microsoft is now. And I'll also inform them? They should STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM ANYTHING MICROSOFT, for the foreseeable future, or, you know, until you decide, once again, to actually ASSIST
    THOSE, WHO KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS.

    And I'll ask them, to tell ALL THEY KNOW.

    Let's see how far I can get this to spread. I have many others, from "Clubs" etc, I also belong to, as well. Can't leave them in the dark, either- Especially my music groups. I mean, they have HUGE audiences. Best to let as many as possible know, so they, too,
    are not drug through a "Living hell" of their own, in a land of the NON-LIVING.

    Its a cash grab. Plain and simple. This is not any more necessary now than it was in 2005. They have just decided that they can get more from you and give less back as long as they say Halo every now and then.

    Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 has an app that does this exact thing and Im sure many other tablets already do this. It has search and you have complete control over your dvr box. The app is free. Im sure MS will save this function for GOLD members.

    DRM is simple...check for the disc like last gen. I know there were modders. There will ALWAYS be modders.

    LOSING the used games fee/Internet check is more important to gamers than swapping discs. Look at ANY gaming website or even your own forums. Everyone hates this.

    And that is why i have never purchased a single song from the itunes store. the stupidity of that scheme (as a consumer) was apparent in 2002. I used to think sony was bad with all of their proprietary formats - now they look good in comparison.
