    When purchasing a digital Xbox 360 game, can I use my digital gift card balance to buy a game just like I do on Xbox One as long as I have a valid credit card on my account?

    I can't see any no. I bought one of these for £40 the other day, it's gone up a quid now (make sure you get the Facebook code for the extra 5% off).

    Purchasing games on the 360 is slightly different than the One if you want to use the credit on your account. When you get to the billing page change the payment method to show your credit. If the credit does not cover the full amount of the purchase you
    will be asked if you want to charge the balance to your credit card.

    Hey sacred. You can't use currency on your account to purchase a membership. You'll need to use either a credit card, paypal or a pre-paid membership card

    Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. The Microsoft account balance is essentially the same as a gift card since funds typically come from Xbox gift cards.

    The important parts would be

    "Do gift cards expire?

    No, gift cards purchased at retail never expire. Note that promotional gift cards like those from Microsoft Rewards or Xbox Live Rewards do expire."

    "What is the difference between a Microsoft Gift Card and an Xbox Gift Card?

    The cards work just the same. Once redeemed to your Microsoft account, you can spend your balance at Microsoft Store online, on Windows, and on Xbox."

    "Where can I spend a gift card?

    Once redeemed to your Microsoft account, your gift card balance is available to spend when you shop at Microsoft Store online, on Windows, and on Xbox. Gift cards do not currently work at physical Microsoft Stores."

    Should cover you. One thing I'm not certain with is if "gift cards" can be used to pre-order physical goods. Might want to check with Microsoft Store support on that?

    If you are purchasing devices like Xbox console, surface pro they are limited to being used for them.

    If you will be mainly using these on an Xbox console, then the Xbox gift card is perfect.

    yes xbox gift cards will work on pc,s and yes you need xbox live gold go for xbox live gold first.
