    Microsoft Xbox Code not working


    My son got an Xbox One for Christmas from his uncle. Another relative gave him a couple of gift cards. One gift card was for 6 months of gold membership plus 1 game and both the membership code and the game code worked fine but I cannot get the second gift
    card worth 2000 Microsoft points to work. I have tried it on his Xbox and online in a couple of places. I tried on Microsoft.com and on live.xbox.com and I get the same error from both platforms.

    "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page."

    What am I doing wrong here? Thanks for any guidance you can give me. It will be much appreciated.

    Hi Jamie - I'm sorry to here that it isn't working. Can I ask where you purchased the gift card and is it currency or for a game? If you bought it from a store, you need to contact the retailer and let them know the issue. If you bought it online, it may

    I have no idea where they got it. Like I said, it was a gift to my son. It says Powered by Fast Card, 24.99 Estimated Retail Value, 2000 Microsoft Points and has HALO on it but when they gave it to him they told him it was good for anything in the store
    and not just on HALO. I don't see a date or anything like that on it and it wasn't scratched off. I did that just this afternoon.
