Microsoft/Xbox Account Problems

Hello! Since yesterday I haven't been able to access my Xbox account or Microsoft account on my Windows Phone 8. I'm getting error code 805a201b, and I can't find anything helpful on it.

Microsoft Account Verification Problem

I've just bought an xbox one and created a new Microsoft account to use on xbox live as my son uses my old account. I logged into the xbox website with no problems and changed my gamertag to the one I want. So then I tried to setup my account on my xbox one and get to the stage where it sends a verification e-mail, no problem I thought, checked my e-mail account nothing, tried again nothing and again, left it a few hours nothing. This was Tuesday night and it will not send a verification e-mail. After a search I tried to verify my Microsoft account onm their website and it always comes up with a 'temporary problem, try gain later' screen.

So basically I can't use the new xbox one I've had sitting there for 2 days until this gets resolved, Anybody goy any answers as I can't face phoning Microsoft customer services.Cheers

The problem went away, so I'm pretty sure it was just a problem on Microsoft's end. Just had to wait it out.

Still happening to me. What model is your phone? Mine is an HTC 8X

 

I have an 8x too. When did your problem start?

 

Yesterday. Morning. Started with AlphaJax not connecting and then by noon, the phone stopped connecting to Live at all. I got it back around midnight for a few minutes but it has been out ever since.

 

It started sometime yesterday for me also. I wish you the best of luck!

@Darlor44 - are you able to connect to Xbox services? I suspect it's only affecting HTC 8XT models. I've had this issue since last Friday, April 25. I have probably done every possible troubleshooting step. I am actually able to update/download apps
associated to my MS account (I think everything is), but I'm noticing that when I'm within the Games Hub, I can't connect to Xbox. My gamerscore isn't updating either and my avatar just recently 'came alive' as he was grayed out/faceless.

Also as of this morning it all appears to be working again. I noticed in the other thread I posted that the support delivery manager stated they are aware of and working on the issue last night. Hopefully they found and have resolved the issue at this time.
