Microsoft/Xbox Account Locked, Unable to Sign In

I just finished playing RE5 on Steam and when I exited the game I noticed that my Microsoft account had been signed out of everything. Not just on my desktop but also my phone and Xbox as well. I thought maybe it's some weird connectivity issue or the auth expired so I went to re-sign in and I see the following:

Your account has been locked

We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

First off, I have been using this Microsoft account for well over a decade. I have MSDN subscriptions, Microsoft 365, Game Pass Ultimate, an active Microsoft Partner Center account, and I've been using OneDrive since it was just $5 a month and called SkyDrive. My Microsoft account is extremely important to me both personally and professionally. It's not an option to be locked out of it, ever. Every account I make on a site I make using my Outlook email address. Every recovery method I setup on other services is to my Microsoft account.

I'm posting this here because I'm genuinely not sure what caused this. I'm a developer and I test everything I can both for my own interest but also because it's important to keep up-to-date with things.

I have over 8,500 hours of games played on Xbox (link) and that's only since they've been tracking it. I'm an Xbox Insider and my Xbox Series X is currently on the Alpha Skip Ahead. I am on almost a year streak of the Xbox Insider weekly surveys and well over half a year streak with the weekly Microsoft Rewards. After over a decade and working with Microsoft as a developer and being a genuine fan of Xbox, Zune, Windows Phone, and everything else, I've never had anything like this happen. My Microsoft account is the one I rely on the most and I can't overstate how serious this issue is.

To recap here:

• My Microsoft account is locked with no information as to why
• I was playing/streaming RE5 when it happened
• I have 2FA enabled on my account with the Microsoft Authenticator app
• I take the security of my Microsoft account VERY seriously
  • The password is extremely secure and unique to my Microsoft account
  • Only one aliased email is allowed to sign-in
  • Every recovery option is already setup
  • Sign-in alerts are on
• I already filled out the appeal form and submitted it
  • My account is not something I can wait around to be fixed, I am doing whatever I can to try and expedite this
• Account is used to access a lot of different Microsoft services
• I have no indication regarding what happened
  • I was streaming RE5 on Twitch at the time so I wasn't even actively using my Microsoft account

My account being locked out means that I can't access anything. From Xbox to Outlook to the 700+GB of data on my OneDrive to the Azure portal (and my resources) and even Visual Studio since I use VS2022 Enterprise and the license is through my Microsoft account. Same thing with my desktop's Windows 11 Enterprise license.

Despite all of this, I want to say that I understand that things happen. I don't blame anyone at all and I just want this to be resolved. If it's possible I'd like to know if there was something I did that could have inadvertently caused this so that I can avoid this from happening, but I'm not mad. If the Xbox staff can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. All of my digital purchases, subscriptions, achievements, saves, and everything else are now inaccessible.

I also know it's unlikely that the Xbox, Alpha Skip-Ahead, Game Pass Ultimate on PC, or anything similar is the culprit. Since I don't have any information one way or the other, I at least wanted to bring it to your attention because I have no idea what happened.
