Hello. I recently had a problem with the Xbox 360 gamepad for PC. Poorly started working buttons LB and RB. In this regard, there is a strong discomfort when playing slashers, fighting games and games of the Dark Souls series. Gamepad is still on warranty
service, but when I came to the store where this copy was purchased, I was sent to another place - a service center that is far away and to get there it is necessary to spend money for travel. In addition, judging by the reviews, having handed over your gamepad
to the service center will have to wait a month or more, until it is repaired or still be convinced of the gamepad malfunction. Actually here my question - whether it is possible as though faster to understand with this problem and how? =) P.S. Thanks in advance

Unable to install XBox 360 wired controller on Windows 10

Hi there; looking at the website where you can get the drivers from Microsoft, it does not appear that they have updated drivers for Windows 10 (www.microsoft.com/.../xbox-360-controller-for-windows).
You may have to update/upgrade to the Xbox One controller for Windows.

The Xbox Wireless Adapter you've bought is not backward compatible with 360 controllers.

Here is one on Amazon, for example (they don't sell it on the Microsoft store anymore).

Are you sure your Xbox 360 controller is brand new Microsoft controller? A quick look on sites like Amazon will bring up loads of these controllers, but they're all third party. Microsoft stopped making 360 controllers nearly a decade ago. These third party controllers vary in quality.

If it really is a 'new' 360 controller then it may just be faulty. It won't be an issue with drivers. The Xbox 360 controllers use the Microsoft XINPUT API which has been around ever since 2005 and has been built into every version of Windows since Windows Vista.
