Microsoft/Xbox 360 account seemingly lost

I dug up my old Xbox 360 recently and went to play one of my most favorite games from my childhood, Need for Speed: Most Wanted. I had many achievements on it and had Limited Edition bonuses linked to that account as well as some other goodies. I had some
other games that me and my sister played and had save files on. When I tried to log back in, my account is no longer there. I used a spare account and went to the Storage in settings to see if my save files were there and they were but where it would usually
say what profile it is linked to it just says "Unknown Profile" and I know for a fact that that is the save file linked with the account in question. I still know the gamertag, and peculiarly my current Xbox account that I use to play PC games such as Modern
Warfare 2019 is friends with it. I tried to login to xbox.com with the email that I'm almost sure I used with the account and it said that no such account existed. I don't know what to do. Has my profile and progress been completely lost? How can I go about
getting my account back? I looked at the profile and it has the same bio that me and my sister set a number of years ago and all the achievements we obtained together. I just want my childhood back.

If you tried signing in with the email you thought was on the account and it said it does not exist then that means that is not the correct email.

At this point the only thing you can do is to try and contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them your gamertag they can look the account up and if they can verify ownership of the account they can give you the email address
that is associated with that account.

I am almost 100% sure I have the correct email remembered that I used to sign up and I do still have access to it. I tried using that email to log into xbox.com and it said the account did not exist.

Can you recall the Email address you used to sign up? Do you still have access to it?

your xbox 360 profile is lost when you remove the account, to avoid this you need to link it to your microsoft account.

Do you use Xbox One or Xbox 360 ?

Letters ? Do you mean that lost emails received and want to recover it ?
