    Microsoft Wireless Speed Wheel for Xbox One?


    Although I prefer to play my racing games with a proper wheel - like the Logitech G25 (which of course only works on the PS3...) - I think that the Microsoft Wireless Speed Wheel for Xbox 360 is an excellent product - easy to set up and use, and certainly
    a lot better than driving with a gamepad, which I hate...

    I have had a lot of fun in Forza 4 and Forza Horizon using this wheel, now I'm having some difficulties enjoying Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 equally much because of that pesky little gamepad. And because of the location of the console - the living room -
    a more stationary wheel with pedals and stuff, is not an option.

    Anyone know if Microsoft have any plans for a Wireless Speed Wheel for the Xbox One?

    The Wireless Speed Wheel has been announced for Xbox 360.

    Designed with both racing novices and experts in mind, the Wireless Speed Wheel features standard control buttons, back triggers and haptic rumble feedback.

    Lights on the device will also be activated for certain titles, such as
    Forza Motorsport 4     later this year.

    "The new Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel balances the realism of a wheel with the feel of a controller for greater user edge in game play," read a press release.

    "With trigger buttons for gas and brake, combined with a rumble feedback, the Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel provides intuitive standard controller buttons that immerse the driver into the game, whether you like to white knuckle it down the race track with your
    hands at '10 and 2' or '9 and 3'."

    The Wireless Speed Wheel will be available exclusively on Xbox 360 for £44.99 this October.

    He is probably talking about the original Xbox wireless Feedback wheel. You will have to go to E-bay or craigslist for spare parts or maybe a game shop ( like a mom and pop kind of one that sells retro games and might have it ...Better chanced then Gamestop).

    No I don't think it is.

    I believe at the moment the only compatible wheels are:

    The official M$ wheel ( hard to get hold of now)

    Fanatec wheel (v.expensive)

    and a couple of cheaper madcatz wheels, which I am unsure of how good they are.

    Microsoft have announced their new wireless speed wheel due for release in Oct, but untill then no one will know how good that might be.

    And I am ALSO angry with MUchoCost (MS) for NOT making the Windows 10 driver for this WIRELESS controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel) compatible like they do for the MS XBOX 360 original wireless controllers, that connect to Windows 10 via the EXCATLY
    SAME WIRELESS ADAPTER for PC, which makes NO SENSE..

    I think he was just speculating that if it was compatible, it would need an adapter but unfortunately this wheel is only compatible on PC with older versions of Windows since the drivers for this wheel are not available. This wheel is not compatible for
    the Xbox 360. And as others have stated, it is best to not use that wheel and locate a wheel designed for the Xbox 360 like the

    Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel    . They're not sold by Microsoft anymore but you can potentially find one online on Amazon or from your local game Store.

    No one sells it because Microsoft quit making it a while ago. It's not just a Poland thing. There's a new wheel coming out that's not very expensive, but it's more of a "floating in the air" type wheel with no pedals. I'm sad to say that MadCatz is probably
    going to be your best bet. One of my coworkers has one, and it's not bad. Not sure which one he has, but it's one of the newer ones.
