    Microsoft wireless headsets for XBOX / Bluetooth


    I recently bought the Microsoft wireless headsets for XBOX/Bluetooth, and in general they work fine, but every time I want to use them with a Bluetooth device (such as mobile or PC) when I turn them on, the XBOX also turns on.

    This is terribly inconvenient and happens to me EVERY DAY SEVERAL TIMES.

    I thought I read that this works this way by design and cannot be changed. If this is indeed the case, please don't advertise the headset as being usable on other devices because it is extremely uncomfortable.

    I want to be able to use the headset on XBOX and PC without automatically turning on the XBOX, is this possible?

    Is the headset switched to Xbox mode? The new Microsoft bluetooth/xbox wireless headsets work in either bluetooth or xbox mode, but not both at the same time. You need to make sure it's in Xbox mode to pair it with your Xbox console.

    there are no Bluetooth Xbox adapters as Xbox is not compatible with Bluetooth. You can plug a wired headset into the controller, or purchase an Xbox specific headset.

    The Microsoft wireless headset is compatible with both Bluetooth and Xbox but I believe it requires you to re-sync it when you switch platforms

    The Xbox 360 Console, doesn't support Bluetooth & only the Wireless Bluetooth Headsets are capable of a Bluetooth connection to Bluetooth Devices etc..

    You will need to use your Apple USB cable to connect to the Xbox 360 Console..
