Microsoft Wireless Headset. Problem with volume ring when connected to PC

Hi guys. I am the lucky owner of the headphones. However, I have encountered the following problem: the volume ring (right) only works halfway.

If you turn it down to minimum, you can't hear anything. After that, I start to turn it up. Up to half a turn there is no sound. As soon as I turn the volume ring halfway up, there is sound. And then, the remaining half turn adds it to the maximum.

So, it turns out that my volume ring adjusts the volume from 50 to 100 (physical rotation). From 0 to 50 there is no change in sound (no sound at all).

All the latest updates are installed.

The headphones work like this when connected to the PC via the Xbox adapter, via wire and via bluetooth. Same problem when connected to phone via bluetooth.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Can you tell me if this happens on an Xbox?

The adapter you use is the original Xbox wireless adapter, right?

But there is no problem when playing on any Xbox. Only on PC. I have updated FW of Xbox Wireless Headset and connected with Xbox Wireless adapter...

Are you connecting to the adapter with a cord? You said your headset is wireless. I have the limited edition MW3 TB headset and I have to use the talk-back cable to connect my headset with the adapter. It took me a little while to get it set up right.On
the adapter there is a button on the left with a head on it, this controls the chat volume when you press it the chat volume increases and the game sound decreases.

I used the wireless adapter to connect the the joystick to the PC, with that done all i needed to do was connect the headset to the controller and the windows would recognize it as Headset (Xbox360 wireless receiver for windows). But i contacted microsoft
support about the X1 headset and i was told that it will work fine as well, and i already ordered it. When it arrives i will report the result here.

Sorry to hear it. The 3.5 mm jack does seem to have a problem with direct connections. I would like to suggest getting an Xbox Headset Adapter to plug into your controller. It offers a more stable connection to your headset with volume controls right
there as well.

Other than that the only other thing I could suggest would be a wireless headset
