Microsoft will not fix party chat or friends list. Ask for a refund of your money.

Over 24 hours and no friends list or party chat. My question is why pay for something you cant use? Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company who chooses not to fix something when its broken. I tried to dig deeper into why its not working with no luck.
On the website, and talking with employees of microsoft they all give the same bland answer. Sorry your friends list is down so is ours, please be patient we will fix this soon... 24 hours later and we re no sooner to a fix. Only use xbox to play and talk
with friends. I demand a refund or compensation end of story. I also reccommend you all do the same. Is this the end of xbox one?

any1 else's chat and friends list always going down? i'd say 95% of the time im playing, my friends list always says everyone's offline, also, when im in a party chat, i'll get through like 2 games of cod then onone in the party will be able to hear anybody...wtf
microsoft is there a way to fix this? or should i just go buy a ps4...havent heard of any chat problems from them

 

Problems with multiplayer

My friends and I are having this same issue and nothing is working to fix it. We have tried in a chat party, not in chat party, joining from friends list, you name it, we have found no fix for this.

 

u guys just need to chill out its not easy fixing a computer program there are billions and billions of codes to go through so give them time

 

ya and i get that but we are talking about an issue since xbox one first released they could have and should have fixed by now.

This to me personally is a known issue with xbox live acct's, as well when i check online it corresponds with the social and gaming problem release from xbl. I want to say that I can recollect it happening to me ever since I have had the Xb1(since launch
day), but the xb1 support team has been on their feet running and normally within 24hr it is back to normal. It comes and goes as any little glitch like this does. Why do consumers believe any issue in electronics w/networking is like a light switch, and can
be resolved with the push of a button? Is 24 hrs too much to ask? Is that it has happened more than once the main issue? I'm a long time member of xbl, and have seen the majority of the little quirks that have been around all these yrs, and know that these
glitches will not be our last. I just wish that the IT department would definitely take a more thorough look into the resolution of this friend issue along with the chat issue... It has been a long time coming.

suffer as a result.

Well, I just want to make 2 quick points here:

1. Yes, it does indeed take time to fix this(not going to explain why). However we do deserve compensation or even a full refund, yes, for just 24 hours.

2. Please, no matter what you defend, Microsoft or your rights, make sure you know what you are talking about.

Are you for real ? .... it was working 2 days ago and isnt now so what have they changed in that time ? ... certainly not billions of lines of code . If its software related then they should return to a previous working build and if its hardware then replace
the faulty whatever it is thats gone wrong

Lol have you ever had it where your car just randomlly stops working? what did you change in your car nothing right, so why should it not work this time? who knows you take it to the shop where they go through all the parts. some where along the line something
went wrong because there is SO many parts (code in this case) that a part of the machine didnt go into place

 

I live in Greece and Xbox Live has been having glitches for the past 48 hrs. It is not a question of when or how it can be fixed, the question is "Why Microsoft does not issue any statement to the public" Give us some kind of "REAL" answer and not a computer
answer of "Oop's sorry there is an Error" crap....... As to having our "Car" etc stop working one day, most people take it in to be serviced and get the problem fixed, they don't just ignore it and shrug.
