Microsoft what did you do!?!!?

Hey Microsoft,

What did you do?!? Since this new update you have effectively ruined my audio! Before this update, I had 5.1 audio through my cable box, and everything else.. but since this update I now have to deal with 2.0 STEREO sound with anything but Titanfall or
Blu-Ray... WTF did you do?!! I've disconnected my cable box and amazingly I get guess what... (5.1 Dolby Digital) THIS is what I used to get before this stupid update! FIX IT!!! I've been an Xbox customer since the original Xbox. I'm ready to throw this
f'ing thing out the window in the next few days, f'n FIX IT!

I played a whole lot of Skyrim with mods. Breaking in my PC after a year of procrastinating sending my graphics card back for a replacement.

 

dude calm down, I understand your frustration a realy do theres nothing more annoying than spending lots of money on a surround sound kit then something mess it up, but there could be worse problems like the origional xox 360 rrod, at least your console
is working, have you rang customer services and asked them what the problem is? I dont currently own a xbox one but isnt it possible that they added a setting that allows you to change the peramiters of the 5.1?

 

They actually wound up replacing the console cause the drive went out also.. However, the 5.1 is still *** up so it' stereo surround until they fix what they broke in the april update..

 

Did you happen to check in the settings to see if the update reverted the system back to stereo instead of bitstream 5.1?

 

I have everything running through my receiver / HDMI. It doesn't matter what I change it to, bitstream DTS, DD, HDMI 5.1 or 7.1. The only way to get surround sound audio is to change it to stereo and then fake it on the receiver w/ prologic... if I leave
it on any of the above settings the only speakers that work are left and right channel speakers even though the receiver says its sending the signal to all five speakers.. Never had a problem until the april update.
