Microsoft wants seek out to person (people) who leaked ‘Solitary Warfare’ image

Microsoft Xbox Game Studios, the company behind the massively popular series franchise Halo,Gears of War,Crackdown,Forza,State of Decay and Rare. Studio wants social and forums platform
to turn over details on the identity of fews their employees announces users who allegedly leaked out information about Solitary Warfare. According to a Digital Millennium Copyright Act subpoena from Microsoft directed at Sites, this user ‘posted infringing
Microsoft content’ on subreddit and Formus.

The subpoena was recently viewed by Reporters, which states that Microsoft wants sites to ‘identify
alleged infringers.’ The issue revolves around Solitary Warfare game was released winter 2021.

The DMCA subpoena alleges few users shared the leaks information and images with the claim that they found it online. The link to the infringing post included in the subpoena has since been deleted, according to the report. The subpoena was filed in the
Northern District Court of Boston on February 25.

The end goal of the subpoena, assuming users complies, is the identity of the user who allegedly leaked the information so that Activision can pursue legal action against them. Reddit, under the DMCA, cannot be held liable for any infringing content its
users may post on its website, though it is obligated to the content down upon request.

It’s unclear at this time whether Reddit will provide the information to Microsoft — and, of course, whether

Microsoft

will be able to identify the user. If the sources had only ever used their account while behind a VPN or on a public wireless network, it won’t be possible for the company to narrow down who posted the information and leak images.
