Microsoft Ultimate Word Games: US-centric much?

Can someone please tell me why the crosswords in the Microsoft Ultimate Games are SO US- based? The clues are entirely almost without exception, dependent on being a US citizen to be answered without resorting to Google. You are hopefully aware that there
are people who have never lived in the US that undertake these crosswords I presume - so why are all your clues and answers so rooted in US culture? It makes me very cross and I would dearly like someone to take notice and DO something about it or I'm just
going to have to find a different app to use.

Microsoft Ultimate Word Games

Problem loading daily challenge data (crosswords). Instructions are to contact support. I've waited and tried getting back in as instructed, cleaned out temp files and finally rebooted without success. I completed the challenges for Gem Collector and Bomb
Difusal but clicking on the Crosswords icon only gives me the error message.

Your help would be appreciated.

Most likely because MS is a USA based company. *It is kinda stupid to not have regions in the game*

This would be because the company that makes and supports it is US based. They are going for what they know best. They can't very well make clues based off of Egyptian culture if they are all American born and raised. I agree they could do some research
and make it a little more diverse, or just try to avoid all the US residents only clues, but I doubt we have muvh of a say in things lol.

 

It's available in other languages, too.
