    Microsoft Ultimate Word Games Subscription


    I have subscribed to Microsoft Ultimate Word Games, windows desktop, for many years. When my annual subscription expired, it will only renew on a monthly subscription (for two months now). I would rather pay for annual - one time and probably a slight discount. Why isn't an annual subscription no longer being offered?

    I subscribe to "game pass", and upgrade to "ultimate game pass" within the same hour and got charged for both individually. Can I got the original "game pass" subscription reimbursed?

    If you upgrade from Game Pass to Game Pass Ultimate, you don't really pay the difference. You still pay the full amount or price of the Ultimate while your remaining Game Pass subscription will be converted to Ultimate in pro-rated. In other words, they're merged as one.

    When you added the one month of Game Pass Ultimate, Microsoft converted your existing year of Xbox Live to Game Pass Ultimate. It became 1 subscription.

    Xbox Live and Game Pass are two separate subscription, but Xbox Live and Game Pass Ultimate basically get merged into one.

    In other words, when you thought you were cancelling the Game Pass Ultimate, it cancelled the Xbox Live remainder too.

    There isn't much you can do when a daily challenge refuses to load. Restart the game or PC might help, or wait a few hours and try again.
