Microsoft to do something at E3 that has never been done at E3

Developers will be making demos regardless for events such as E3, PAX, Comic Con, TGS, etc. So the demo will already be made. All they need to do is release it, but they wont.

 

When I first saw the headline I thought it might have something to do with recent reports that Microsoft "Would reveal their biggest surprise ever at E3" .. doesn't look like it though.

 

Every game has a demo of sorts while they are developing. Sunset Overdrive devs were letting IGN and others play a portion of their game, it wasn't even locked off from the uncompleted sections, lol

 

The whole theatre goes dark. The screen switches on and the following words appear as if typed in Courier font:

Would you like to play a game?

Yes.

What game would you like to play?

Global Thermonuclear War.

Initialising...Completed.

The screen goes black. Then, a massive White flash accompanied with explosion effects engulfs the theatre and you see a hand lying on the dirt in front of you. You are lying on the ground. It is your own hand. You get up and turn around.

A massive wasteland is behind you and you see the ruins of postwar London. The screen cuts to black.

no coz the demo they show can change i watched a mass effect 3 e3 demo this morning they was showing the level where u fight the reaper that comes out the groud well on the demo it had cerbaras soldier but in the final game it had geth

I'd buy an X1 that very day.

 

I would like to have something never been done in my living room rather than at E3.... if It's something amazing that i will be able to play or do with Xbox one.....Other than that,i'm not intereseted.

 

And going back to the stone age of online gaming ?

^^ Major Nelson tweeted it a little bit ago. Its just a side project from him so its nothing groundbreaking or earth shattering.

 

Hmm. Announce that with XBL Gold, users on the X1. That through the "Cloud" could can be used as a TB or more, of cyber harddrive space perhaps?

How about an external HDD via USB for extra storage. But do it like Sony does and let people use any external HDD.

Oh, but then you'll always have a cable connected to your console. What to do?

Xbox One Slim which comes with a 7500 RPM - 2 TB HDD. Oh, and a user friendly easy access door so if HDD tech reaches, say. 100,000 RPM/800 + TB capability. X1 owners could easily UPGRADE.

It could work! Now why couldn't MS think of that to begin with?

Looking forward to E3, and what both Console manufacturers will REVEAL. Or perhaps even a 3rd Competitor in the Console market.

 

I know what it is. To show the power of the kinect he will scan his entire body and his hologram will be at E3 while he is on some island for vacation!!!

the reason ms didnt do that is cost its the reason tehy didnt wanna take the risk with GDDR5 at the time is was a risk and cost too much. larry said on his podcast they r doing events for fans etc

 

I swear there's always some kind of statement like this, I'll reserve all excitement until the show.
